Mentions in trustworthy media therefore support the <a href=\"https:\/\/taismo.de\/en\/what-is\/e-a-t\/\">E-E-A-T<\/a> profile, even without a single link.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"brand-mentions-ai-visibility\">Why do brand mentions matter for AI visibility?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>For AI systems, unlinked mentions work just like linked ones, because language models read text, not PageRank.<\/strong> A language model learns from training data and retrieved sources which brands appear together with which topics.
